One of my friends a couple of months ago went to another school in New Jersey and saw a particular scene that he really enjoyed. He went to a basement house show and was amazed about how it brought the student community together to gather and live the arts and culture of the region, as well as, getting some fresh talent from around the school.
He wanted that scene to come to Rowan. Thankfully it happened. And one of the major providers of this type of entertainment in the 4333 Collective.
Here’s a recap montage of our February 1st show featuring @richpeopleband @xxiiixix_ @nonfictionband and @bloombandma – we’d like thank all the bands and everyone in attendance for such a special night. 🙂

That’s the type of energy that this Glassboro Organization brings to the table. They are very proud to bring upcoming artist with only a couple of songs on Spotify or other social media to expose the talent that occurs here in the region.
And the group has had such a success that even bands from other cities have joined the initiative of performing here in Glassboro.
These shows are important for the students and even though they mostly cater to the alternative music crowd. A lot of people enjoy the feeling of coming to an event where they are going to see familiar faces, listen to cool music, and bring more of their own culture to the table.
There’s always a little bit for everyone and back when my friend told me these type of things existed I didn’t imagine how much it was going to change my Rowan Experience for good.
